The Gloucester Pastures Protection Board met Friday with directors J C Wilson chairing and members A Laurie George Andrews James Easton W H Unicomb John Hammond W T Abbott and George W Titcume along with Stock Inspector Arthur B Moore and Secretary M Newton. They discussed burning a dead beast found in Weismantel's reserve with cost 10/6 and efforts to contact the owner, appointment of M R Buttsworth as dingo scalp receiver, proposals to cut sleepers on reserves and fencing progress, and rabbit destruction methods including Nicholls, digging out, netting, and gasing with emphasis on coordinated action.
