Tom Hicks was re elected president of the Gloucester 15 L sub branch at a Friday night meeting. Members were urged to boost membership as the year ended with 211 paid from 315 on roll. Building funds rose to 7 180 17 9 while overall balances increased to 10 231 5 4 to fund a 15 000 Soldiers Hall in Denison Street.

Gloucester Wins Bowling Meeting Over Dungog Visitors
The Gloucester bowling club defeated Dungog on a home match Saturday. One rink side named the Diggers trophy was won by local players led by Guri with a three point margin. The detailed score cards list many players including McIntosh Smith McNaughton Woodward Searle Stevens Poppleton Jones and others, with Dungog’s Vidal Phillipa Nicholla Whatson and Dare Saxby Chaplin Edgington also noted in the contest ending 20 18.
