Bees Swarm Inside Bowser in Frederickton
Mr R J Jamieson found a colony of bees swarming in a petrol bowser at his Frederickton property. They were removed half a mile away and confined for hours, but the next morning returned to the bowser. The bees entered through the pumping handle hole and fueled fumes inside the bowser, yet the insects reappeared despite attempts to deter them.
