Chamber Appeals for Business Section Support
Tuesday night meeting of the Chamber heard a call for stronger business section backing. Members praised last year’s work, noted town improvements, and discussed sought extensions to operating hours, signage, park facilities, drainage, and footpaths in Hume Street and surrounding areas. A three-member committee was elected to oversee the effort with a renewed annual subscription set at 10 shillings.
