The Jew Boy bushrangers' hidden loot theory explored
A NSW publication recalls the Pilcher's Mountain hideout of the Jew-boy gang led by Edward Davis. It claims the loot from raids across Dungog Maitland Brisbane Water and Wollombi remained hidden in a cavern system, possibly at Pilcher's Mountain, until after Day and his hunters captured the gang in 1841.
