Star Theatre Fire Inquiry Evidence Sparks Trial Charge
Sensational evidence marked the inquiry into the Star Theatre fire of 22 November. The Coroner committed a man for trial at the next Taree Quarter Sessions after two witnesses testified they were offered money to burn the theatre. Police, witnesses, and the accused testified about benzine boxes, an urn, and boxes matching paint used in the theater.
