Clearing dairy sale prompts strong bidding at Warranella
The report from W E Sparke (Gerl) Pty Ltd notes a very successful clearing dairy sale at Warranella last Saturday led by Mr H Power. Cattle fetched varied but strong prices with cows selling up to £12 and more for calves. Gloucester pig sales also reported a light warding with pigs and calves sold at firm late rates. Tom Hicks noted brisk but restrained yarding of pigs and calves with weighty animals maintaining good value.
