Musical revue by the Society Strollers at Star Theatre
Heavy rain reduced attendance but a good house enjoyed the Society Strollers show under Mr Ker Shaw at Star Theatre last Thursday night. The program opened with an overture by Tabernac, Falconer, McInnes, and Higgins, followed by lively numbers, solos, and ballet. Performers included Foley, Shest, Mrs Bennett, Miss OBrien, Arthur Turner, Miss Jean Mynard, Iris Burns, and Rex Skinner among others, with encores and audience laughter throughout.
