Graziers Association Emphasizes United Front

A Graziers Association general Council meeting resolved unanimously that primary producers, kindred bodies, selling agents and brokers must set aside sectional interests and unite into one solid front to approach the Government or resist unjust legislation or industrial attacks. The motion stressed the need for common effort among all interests in face of adverse legislation.

Constitutional Convention adopts post war powers bill

The Constitutional Convention on Wednesday unanimously adopted the bill drafted to set out post war powers to be delegated by States to the Commonwealth. State Premiers plan to seek parliamentary acceptance in its current form. Also note: school teachers may wear shorts this summer. Mr. Hendry, secretary of the Teachers Federation, cites a ministerial ruling and says teachers will dress coolly yet remain proper.
