The Coolongolook area near Curreek Creek hosts the Big Wonder claim by Kitchen Brothers and John Saxby. Early assays yield 53 oz of gold and 14 oz silver per ton, with the blue-grey quartz reef 18 inches to two feet wide. Government assayer reports strong prospects, though no batteries are on site.
