Gloucester Shire Council held its regular meeting on Friday afternoon with 2 15 p m start. The finance report listed payments across funds and recommended a loan to pay off a grader and other claims. Zone Tourist Organization motions were carried and a joint conference with Stroud Shire planned. Public conveniences requirements and lighting rules for eateries and venues were discussed. Grant funded park improvements and a proposed picket fence for the grandstand were considered. Other items included relief funds, road and crossing work, entrance to a garage, subdivision plans, neon sign permits, and bridge plans delays awaiting department approvals.
