A Horseman in the Sky chapter continues in air force vigil
In a wartime tale the narrator and Mick debark from a seaplane after a raid on a fifth column faction. They relay their rescue of prisoners to Port Fergus, face government censorship, and receive assurances of future recognition. Letters from Ann reveal personal stakes as sources tease a Cabinet Minister’s interest and a lawyer hunts clues about the narrator’s parentage.
