The government announced a £20000 fund to advance dairy farmers and beef breeders to buy pure bred bulls. Advances to individuals capped at £50, and £25 per bull. Repayment over five years at 4 percent interest. Bulls must pass tuberculosis and contagious abortion tests and be approved by the Department of Agriculture.
