Pasture Renovation Trials with Mitchell Pasture Harrow
Dairymen in the district tested the Mitchell Pasture Harrow from Simplex Baltic Machinery Co. Ltd on Mr. J. H. Farley’s holding with five observers from Monkerai and Ward's River. The six foot, 18 tine implement drawn by three horses proved simple, adjustable, and versatile for lucerne renovation and all soil types, with interchangeable tines and double-ended features. An optional 4 ft size and larger tractor-ready models exist. The device is praised for effectiveness on uneven ground and its suitability for paddocks and farms.
