A Glenfield Veterinary Research Station test poisons Eucalyptus leaves by frilling and arsenic solution. After three days leaves withered, fed to a nine month old calf, which remained normal. Result: no danger to stock from eating poisoned leaves, but caution advised to avoid arsenic spillage on forage.

Rabbit skin prices at Sydney sales show mixed demand
Winchcombe Carson Ltd report demand eased at Wednesday's Sydney rabbit skin sale. Best heavy petty lines improved, but other descriptions fell 14 to 14d per lb. Greasy and stale sorts sold poorly at lower prices. Incomings ranged 24d to 27d per lb. fawns and smaller lots varied across multiple grades from 4d to 74d. Hare skins sold for 6d to 1s 6d per dozen.
