New stock opens featuring CHALLENGE BLANKETS in white silver grey and dark grey in full sizes. Also fresh dress flannels wool deco tones velveteen tweeds and flecked wools. New season pullovers cardigans in pure wool with checks stripes and plain shades in sizes for men women and girls.
Judges and officials were entertained at dinner hosted by Mr and Mrs J Watkins at the Commercial Hotel. Officials praised the judges for their expertise while noting many were busy and could not stay. The event marked the Gloucester Show’s 30th year with volunteers delivering ground improvements and support from local press and Farm Society leaders.
The Gloucester show awards section lists numerous poultry classes with winners led by individuals including W Thomas E land Relf and C Belcher. Notable donations include £10 from Mr Watkins toward the camp draft and a cup donated by H Coote for the event, with a dinner hosted for Mr and Mrs Watkins.
