Annual meeting of Upper Manning Rugby Football League delegates
The annual meeting of delegates representing clubs affiliated and to be affiliated with the Upper Manning Rugby Football League was held at the Wingham School of Arts on March 29. President Mr Reg Platt presided with Hon Treas W R Maitland and Hon Sec T W Gollan present. Delegates from Wingham Gloucester Tinonee Dyer's Crossing Cedar Party and others attended. Gollan read the annual report noting Nabiac won the Premiership Hill Cup in their first year, Wingham won medals in a close final against Gloucester, and Krambach excelled in the Reserve Grade. Travel costs were high but funded through careful management. Appreciation was extended to gatekeepers auditors referees and the press. Maitland then presented the balance sheet showing income from balances affiliation car fares refunds gate receipts from multiple clubs totaling 270 pounds.
