Gloucester district rural school's headmaster Mr E J Laird told a meeting of parents and children associations on Tuesday night he had submitted to the department possible milk sources including bottled milk from Taree chilled milk from the Gloucester Co op Dairy Co TB free milk from a local herd and powdered milk He noted bottled milk would cost 60 a gallon and the department regarded this price too high while other sources were deemed unlikely The department said it would review the supply when better cheaper options become available.
