Obituary Mary Irene Wood it was with sadness that i announce the passing of in dearly beloved Mother id grandmother Mary Irene Ood. Mom was bom in deny Manitoba on Nuary 15, 1922 to Ichael Lilian Shoaff. In grew up in Sidney a it a her fathers death of her Mother moved Winnipeg. Mom minued her schooling came a teacher. In 1946 in came to Glenboro to Ach Here she met her iture husband Earl Wood hey were married august1948. Mary Earl Ere blessed with two daughters Joanne Arbara Lynn. Mom raised their daughters n the family farm then tired to Glenboro in october 1978. Dad passed Way january 21, 1980. In september 1980 mom roved to Brandon to be loser to her family. She Jed the grandchildren Early enjoyed being 4th them in their growing ears. She also enjoyed Nany family birthday parties other special it occasion celebrations. Due to ill health mom noved to Fairview Home in Faich 1983 resided the Allan Clarks. Had a great visit. John Louise Clark Bev Loma Clark dropped in for a Short visit while they were Here As did Carol Clark. On sunday the 10th, Wendy Pierre Perron son Patrick Friend Angela Martens of Elm Creek had lunch with the Allan Clarks before taking off for a very enjoyable trip Down to Boissevain to see All the Beautiful paints. What Talent my personal favorite is the one on the fire Hall Quot Green also the one by Verna outlet a while muskrats just the same they Are All Beautiful it is difficult to choose one Over another. They Are All so Beautiful we should All be proud to have so Many talented people around us. Irma Clark Mcdougall of Virden dropped in for a Short visit. She spent sunday travelling around the Countryside with mrs. Vesta Scott of Glenboro mrs. Ruth vane of Stockton. Irma is travelling with Challenge Canada 1995, a group from England has spent the past 10 weeks travelling across the Prairies with a team of belgian horses a covered Wagon for save the children Canada. Trip culminates in Winnipeg september 1517 there until her passing. She enjoyed activities outings going to concerts. In spite of mom s ill health she always maintained a sense of humor. She enjoyed watching hockey baseball on to family visits. Mom was predeceased by her parents Michael Lilian Shoaff. Her half sister Iva Barber her husband Earl. Mom is survived by daughter Joanne Brian Maxwell. Boissevain Barbara of Brandon. She is also survived by her dearly loved grandchildren Michael. Sean. Ryan Lara of Boissevain Sisters in Law Edith Poole Wawanesa Grace Wiggett Kelowna also survive. Funeral service was held on August 25. 1995 at 2 00 . At the St. Stephens anglican Church in Glenboro with Rev. Percy Shepherd officiating. Final resting place is in the family plot in the Glenboro cemetery. Pallbearers were Jim Jones. Doug Dowd. Bill Dowd Ray Taft. Don Taft roman Schamp. All attending were considered honorary pallbearers. With a visit with lieutenant governor Yvon Dumont at government House next sunday. A visited in july All attended Sherri Howatt a Dean Merckx wedding in Brandon Niece Hazel Anderson Ottawa. On nephews Glenn Pennel Garnet Pennell his wife Myrna of new Brunswick Niece Phyllis Pearce. Manitou granddaughter Cheryl of Brien son Jesse of Edmonton brought grandma Janice. All spent a Day in Winnipeg visiting Charles Howatt a celebrating three birthdays. John i Ross spent a very enjoyable Holiday at their daughter Elaine Jim Hibbons their grandson at Markham on Ruth Naismith at Ortolla. On Harold Marian Caesar in Lyon head. On. They attended a baseball game Between the Blue jays the Kansas City royals in the dome. A picnic at Spruce Woods Park on August 13 of the Rolfe Naismith clan was held. There were 62 who attended. John i also attended a dedication of the school Calm at Boyne Creek at tre heme where i taught John was a student. There were 9 of the 14 students who i taught. John also renewed old friends he went to school Alice Cory visited on monday sept. 4th with Bill Betty Chappelle at Hamiota. Jack Loma Mckibbon Wayne Donna Cory had a wonderful time visiting interesting places in Manitoba.
