Glenboro Horse Show Crowds Set New Attendance Record
The Glenboro Desert Riders hosted the annual Glenboro show on Sept 6–7 with 516 entries and 145 horses. Judge Eugene Pederson of Glendive Montana presided. announcer Jack Townsend and ringmasters Ray Hill Morley Rollins led the event. Multiple trophy classes were donated by the American Quarter Horse Association. champions included Grand Champion Stallion Blackburn 95, Grand Champion Mare Sparky Sara Lee, and Grand Champion Gelding Sugar Simba Bar, with numerous foal and youth divisions awarded to riders from North Dakota, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Ontario.
