A sequence of events marked the upcoming marriage of Miss Janice Wilton. A Winnipeg shower hosted by Mrs. H. L. Morrow and Mrs. Gilbert Wilton drew former Glenboro residents, with additional showers by Doreen Prouse and Clare Flammond. The Vital Statistics Staff hosted a dinner at Hip Steak Loft, and the United Church Women gave a community shower in the C E Building with many gifts. Mrs. Wilborg Wilton hosted a trousseau tea, and after the wedding rehearsal Mr. and Mrs. Frank Malyon held the bridal party at their home.
