Glenboro Hosts 33rd Annual Fun Fair Highlights
Glenboro Community Hall hosted the 33rd annual Fun Fair with cake walk prize toss rummage sale mini putt games and Ye O Fishin Pond. Winners included Edie Holbrook and Kelsey Steele for turkeys Krista Bomack and Samantha Myers for Mickey Mouse toys Shellagh Gillingham for third feeder Kyle Fisher won Porky the Pig Val Outhwaite took 77 in the 50 50 draw Tyler Wallis won 50 foonies. Organizers noted strong attendance and potato sales with 40 bags sold.

His 647 pound entry placed second at Roland Manitoba's annual Weigh Off, with 54 pumpkins entered. He notes careful pruning watering and sun in a sheltered area and salvages seeds from chosen fruits.

EcoCentre planned for Glenboro disposal grounds
Glenboro and the Rural Municipality seek site approval from Manitoba Environment for a prefab EcoCentre to handle used oil products. The center includes a 4500 litre tank with 5000 litres containment and on site assembly. MARRC will fund half the cost with remaining shared by the RM and village.
