At the November 9 1983 meeting Glenboro council announced appointments for November 1983 to November 1984. Don Foster became Secretary Treasurer and numerous chairmen vice chairmen and board members were named for fire, public works, sanitation, library, hospital and housing units, regional boards, and committees. Signing officers will be the Mayor or Deputy Mayor and Secretary Treasurer. Grants totaling 2269 plus 1500 and 3264 82 were approved for local facilities and taxes.

Youth Parliament of Manitoba Announces 62nd Session
Preparations are under way for the 62nd Annual Youth Parliament session to be held December 26 to 30, 1983 at the Manitoba Legislature. The non profit group aims to teach youth aged sixteen to twenty about Canadian parliamentary government and public speaking while they discuss controversial topics.
