The Glenboro Ambulance Service has purchased a 1985 Ford Lifeline S01 built at Crestline Coach Saskatoon. The unit features advanced acute patient care tech and honors Jamieson’s 36 years of local ambulance service.
The Village of Glenboro held its first 1985 council meeting on November 6th with Mayor Eugene Ehnes and councilors present. F. Foster was named Secretary-Treasurer for 1985 86. numerous appointments across committees and boards were approved, including deputy mayor and fire chief roles. Council agreed to support Westman Media Cooperative Ltd for cable TV and adopted the interim audit. Continued on Page Three.
Manitoba government allocates 73400 to St Alphonse Bruxelles Soil and Water Management Association under Agri-Food Agreement for a five year erosion control plan. Agriculture Minister Bill Uruski announced in Somerset with PFRA involvement and aims to boost water retention and livestock access.
A string techniques workshop will be held December 8 from 1 p.m. at Pilot Mound School taught by Carlisle Wilson of Winnipeg. All levels and stringed instruments welcomed with a $12 registration fee. Call Tiger Hills Arts Association at 526-2063 for details.
