Conibear Rink Captures 9th Lady Sahara Bonspiel Victory
Shirley Conibear's Baldur rink defeated Joan Ingram of Winnipeg in an extra end to win the 9th Lady Sahara Invitational Bonspiel in Glenboro. Conibear, Dearsley, Dearsley and DeKezel went undefeated and received $750, with trophies and the Lady Sahara trophy to remain at the curling club.

Ten teams confirm for the TMHL season along with Clearwater on a one year trial. Each club will play 24 games with playoffs for the top four in the Championship and next four in the Consolation. Perry Horton Glenboro is Commissioner Tony Fraser Glenboro Secretary-Treasurer Jack Elliott Carberry Statistician. Referee-In-Chief Doug Collins retires but aids in finding a replacement.
