Glenboro golf club to celebrate 75 years this weekend
Glenboro Golf and Country Club plans a July weekend celebration for its 75th anniversary. The event features a mixed 18 hole tournament with shotgun starts and separate men’s ladies and senior flights. Volunteers are sought. past presidents will be recognized during ceremonies as tee shirts and sweaters are distributed.

Fundraising Underway for Oak Creek Community Network
The Oak Creek Community Network launches a fundraising drive aiming for about $8 000 per year. At Glenboro School library on Thursday Maureen DeBaets noted roughly fifty internet accounts opened since July and forecast more as winter nears. Cheri McLaren said Baldur School’s public internet access has drawn strong turnout and invites residents to computer lab sessions 7 00 to 9 00 p m on Wednesday evenings to learn online.
