Band Festival Names Adjudicators for Tiger Hills Event
Plans for the Tiger Hills Band Festival set for November 17 18 in Holland Community Centre and Holland Elementary School Gym. Warrant Officer Cor Godri will judge woodwind classes and Dr Merton Utgaard will judge band ensemble and brass classes. All sessions open to the public.

Glenboro Stakes Race Added at 1984 Manitoba Circuit Meet
At the Annual Meeting in Killarney the Glenboro Agricultural Society secured the Manitoba Great Western Stake Race for 3 year old horses. The event, with an estimated $20 000 purse, will run during Glenboro Race Meet on August 11 and 12, 1984, drawing eligible colts from North America and top Canadian and U S farms. The circuit list also notes dates for eight Manitoba venues from Portage la Prairie to Emo through September 1984.
