Glenboro Seeks Senior Hockey Team For Winter Season
About a dozen residents met at the Glenboro rink on October 26 to plan a senior hockey team for this winter. Glenboro joins 11 SCHL teams with Gordon Penner elected league representative. Home games are planned for Saturday evenings and coaches and players are being signed up. Another meeting is set for Sunday November 5 at 2 pm in the rink, all interested urged to attend.

In the R M of South Cypress incumbents Les Drinkwater and George Rutherford were elected in Wards 2 and 4. Ward 2 turnout was 57 percent and Ward 4 turnout 75 percent.
