At the Killarney festival in Glenboro entrants showed strong results across classes from Grade 1 to open and senior categories. Elin Josephson led with multiple First Class Honours and won the trophy for highest mark in four Sonatina classes amid windy, showery conditions.

London Crusade documentary screens in Holland United Church

An hour long film titled London Crusade recounts Billy Graham three month campaign in England. Narrated by the Bishop of Barking the documentary follows Graham from Waterloo Station to White City Wembley Stadium, ending with 200 000 at the final rallies. Village of Glenboro Sets 1955 Dog License Deadline

The village requires all 1955 dog licenses be paid by May 1 1955. After that date unlicensed dogs will be impounded for 48 hours, and if not claimed with expenses paid, the dog will be destroyed.
