Centennial Voices of Cypress River A Lifelong Musical Journey
Elma Gislason recalls early singing in Assiniboine Valley and Cypress River. She details family, neighbors, and local Icelandic singers who shaped her musical career, from childhood to teaching, noting mentors in Winnipeg Glenboro and Selkirk. A 74 year stroke ends her recollections at a rehabilitation centre in Winnipeg.
