Winnipeg Sketch Club Visits Former Member in Glenboro
The Winnipeg Sketch Club with 23 members chartered a bus from Winnipeg to visit former member Mrs. Phyllis Field Cooper in Murray Ave Glenboro on Sunday June 11. They sketched in Spruce Woods Provincial Park Chickadee Land and at Mrs Cooper's house as a gesture of appreciation. The club presented a fruit basket gift to Mrs Cooper and praised Glenboro as an inspiring artists retreat with plans for another visit and a larger party.
