Souris Valley School Board approves staff changes May 1997

Souris Valley School Division board meeting on May 14 1997 approves staff moves including Mark Gillis as secretary treasurer starting June 5 1997 and several transfers among Souris School Green Acres Maple Grove and Souris River schools. Souris Valley School Division and Teachers Ratify 1997 98 Pact

The Souris Valley School Division and the Souris Valley Division Association of the Manitoba Teachers' Society announce a ratified collective agreement with a 1.5 percent salary increase plus 0.5 percent, effective Sept 1 1997 and Jan 1 1998. It also provides per teacher pay during noon hour supervision and guaranteed interviews for vacancies. The package runs Jan 1 1997 to June 30 1998.
