Premier Douglas Campbell announces major Manitoba Cabinet reshuffles after R D Turner resignation leaves three posts vacant. Bud Jobin joins as Minister of Industry and Commerce and Railway Commissioner. Mr Greenlay remains Minister of Labour. F C Bell becomes Minister of Mines and Natural Resources and gives up Public Works. C L Shuttleworth becomes Minister of Agriculture and keeps Public Utilities. The Premier remains Dominion Provincial Affairs minister. Decoration Day service of Glenboro Legion branch held at cenotaph with F M Ferg chairing and George Clark as speaker. Oleson Brothers Built a Local Implement Empire
The Glenboro Gaz ette recalls G. J. Oleson a 1882 born Gimli Manitoba native who started in the implement business in 1912. He endured the 1930s downturn selling five threshing outfits in 1919 and 22 binders in 1928 and later guided a family business with his son T. E. Oleson in Glenboro. He served on town boards church groups and taught Sunday School for decades while contributing to Icelandic literature.
