Glenboro Chamber Holds Annual Meeting At Legion Hall
Tony Fraser elected President of Glenboro and District Chamber of Commerce at January 16 annual meeting in the Legion Hall. Dr J Coates chaired the session with 50 diners. Roy Wallis spoke for the Promotion Committee and Roy Brown of Brandon addressed guests. Officers for 1984 were sworn in and a 2132.86 gift to the Personal Care Home announced.

Uppercrust Pizza Opens in Glenboro Saturday
The Uppercrust Pizza in Glenboro opened on Saturday January 14 with a 4 p.m. ribbon cutting by owner Davin Oleson. A capacity crowd enjoyed pizzas subs lasagna and spaghetti as the shop served takeout and dine in at 22 seats. Door prize winners were Andrea Mowat Darlene Dowd and Connie Shackel. The license restaurant is owned by Davin Oleson Dave Owczar and Dave Prost.
