A big crowd enjoyed two farces That Rascal Pat and Turn Him Out at the Church of England drama night. Mr. Kelly drew laughs as Pat and later as the gentleman, with strong performances by Mr. Hearn, Mr. Brebber, Miss Bruner, and Miss Fawcett. An orchestra provided interval music, led by GoMer Boykinsco.
W H Brown deputy County Court Clerk died suddenly yesterday after a grippe illness. He was found at the foot of the stair by his son Frank while attending to office duties. He leaves two daughters and several relatives, aged sixty five, formerly from Montreal, with funeral arrangements set for this evening.
