The Glenboro Advisory Council for School Leadership met February 10 1999 at 7 30 p m in the school library. Present were Tony Martin Donna Fillion Michelle Wytiick Mary Ann Craig Sandy Fink Kathy Noel Marilyn Cullen and Betty Jean Hill. Principal's report notes second semester underway basketball participation swim program strong Grade 1 marked 100 days of school and School Planning Day set for April 16 with a parent council rep needed. Future meetings will involve parents to improve communication.

On The Road Again segment airing dates announced
The Glenboro Gaiety Theatre segment produced for the CBC series On the Road Again will air on CBX TV Saturday February 20 in the afternoon at 1 or 1 30 p.m. It also streams on the national CBC network in the evening of Feb 17.

Quiet January for Treherne RCMP with 41 complaints
January 1999 saw 41 complaints to Treherne RCMP. Incidents included theft of Stop signs near Notre Dame de Lourdes, a possible assault with no charges, snowmobilers damaging a seeded fall crop and landowner signs, and an impaired driver report on Highway 2. A Stats Canada survey and RCMP recruiting info sessions were announced.
