66th Annual Bonspiel at Glenboro Curling Club
The 66th Glenboro Curling Club Bonspiel opened Sunday evening with 47 rinks, including 13 outside teams from Cypress River, Baldur, Belmont, Cartwright, Pilot Mound, Carberry and Wawanesa. CKX Radio Expands Power With Two New Towers
More Power CKX Radio Brandon Manitoba owned and operated by Western Manitoba Broadcasters Ltd will broadcast 10060 watts day and night starting February. The project includes two 220 foot towers a new ground system and tuning equipment at a cost of 50000 dollars. Transmitter site is four miles west of Brandon on Highway 1 A. This increases night power tenfold.
