Boys Hockey Wins Again Defeat Treherne 13 9
The boys' hockey team defeated Treherne 13 to 9 last Thursday led by Bob Penner with four goals and John Tosh with two. Additional goals came from Jim Rawlings Larry Barr Brian Ridgeway Dennis Wertz Jack Clarke Albert Nairn and Charles Hithorst. They traveled to Holland Monday and won 10 to 2. Next game at Glenboro on Thursday Feb 4 with Cypress River home on Glenboro ice. A girls' hockey team has been organized with first game Friday against Baldur.

29 Crib Hand Sparks Card History in Local Note
Bar Cline notified this paper that Bert Thorn borough just scored a perfect 29 in crib. Thorn held three fives and the Jack of Clubs with the five of clubs turning up.
