Fifty three men women and teenagers from the Glenboro area will complete the Defensive Driving Course on Thursday evening Feb 3. The course in three sessions was held at Glenboro Elementary School with instructor Dick Tayl of the Brandon Safety Division. Participants will receive a certificate confirming attendance in all three sessions.
A meeting was held in the restaurant at Jack's Drive Inn last Wednesday night January 26 to organize a local museum committee. Attendees discussed goals, potential exhibits, and volunteer roles for community heritage projects.
The Hospital Central Aid annual meeting on Tuesday 18 January reported 16 members present. Guild reports showed another successful year, with a treasury balance of 843.23 dollars. Bills totaling 853.12 dollars for bedding towels drapes and patient items were approved for payment. Officers for 1972 include Pres Mrs Smith Cy press River Vice Pres Mrs Metcalfe Treherne Sec Mrs Anderson Cy press River Treasurer Mrs Wilson Rathwell PR Mrs Metcalfe Sewing Mrs Robertson Buying Mrs Bullied and Anderson. The New Year baby receiving the Bible was Twyla Francois of Holland.

Chas Hall took the B Event and Brandon’s team beat Mac Taylor’s rink for A Event. a casserole dinner served to 44 guests marked a lively gathering.
