Mooney Named President Of Manitoba Racing Circuit
George Mooney is elected president of the Manitoba Great Western Racing Circuit succeeding F A Brydon of Portage la Prairie. Dr R Horton of Glenboro becomes secretary, with Mooney appointed as delegate to the Canadian Trotting Association in Toronto. The circuit will run about 21 meets from May 4 to August 4.

Old Time Dance Promises Western Wear at North-West Hall
An old time dance will be held in North-West Hall on Thursday February 2 with Western or Hill-Billy attire requested. Music by Art Graham and his Cornhuskers. Admission two cents. Proceeds aid Glenboro Hospital. The annual Hospital Aid Valentine tea and kitchen utensil shower is set for Saturday February 11 at 3 PM in United church parlors. The Ladies Curling Club meets Thursday at the rink at 9 PM. all lady jurliers urged to attend.
