Manitoba Pool Elevators to pay retained patronage dividends
MPE Dividends to 3,401 retired or 65 plus members totaling 1,931,640.56 in full payment of accounts. cheques mailed in recent days. Family Allowances to rise in 1982 include full indexation and a 26.91 dollar monthly allotment for children under 18 in most provinces, plus a 261 dollar per child refundable tax credit. Special Allowances up to 37.65. In 1981, over 163 million dollars in Family Allowances paid to 3.6 million families for 6.8 million children with an average 45 dollar monthly per family.
