St Pauls Anglican Marks Centennial At Wawanesa
St Pauls Anglican Church in Wawanesa celebrated its 100th anniversary with a Oct 8 centennial service and luncheon attended by about 40 people including Souris and Brandon parishioners. Bishop Malcolm Harding led the service titled Thanksgiving on the Anniversary of a Parish and announced mutual ministry as a future direction.

2000 Glenboro Lighting Contest Winners Named
The Glenboro Lighting Contest results list residential and business winners. Residential top honors go to Bob and Olivia Jewsbury with 1 percent, Norm Sulkowki and Veronica Trowski at 2 percent, Jan and Loren Nelson at 3 percent, with Honorable Mentions for Dave and Sharon Prost and Carl and Shirley Plohman. The judges chose the Village of Glenboro’s new hydro pole Christmas lights as overall winners for 2000.
