The Glenboro growers met at the I C C F Hall to hear J M Fortune discuss the Grain Growers Association. He cited 5000 members from Manitoba's 40,000 farmers and urged broader support to increase the organization's power. He noted farmers lose one cent a bushel under current grain handling and supported government ownership of elevators. George Steel MP P attended to hear delegates from Rathwell to Glenboro and would back a measure if elevators proved effective in practice.
The contest in ward NT produced Messrs. Thin and Donaldson as councillors for the ensuing year.
