The Hawkins Hustlers held its annual meeting at Mrs. Harvey Hamilton's home on December 7 with an average attendance of 10 across nine 1950 meetings. Santa Claus Day a Big Success in Glenboro
Santa arrived in Glenboro on Saturday in a calm, gentlemanly style. A quiet procession of decorated cars trucks and floats presented him to happy children and grateful adults. The event was organized by the Glenboro Chamber of Commerce local businesses and school staff and students. Plans already form for an even bigger show next year with more volunteers.

Village council allows late store hours in December
By resolution the Glenboro Council declares stores may stay open until 10 PM each evening from December 18 to December 22, excluding Thursdays. The measure applies to all local merchants during the stated dates.
