Glenboro volleyball teams post strong 1992 seasons
The Glenboro School girls finish 95 31 with 5 of 8 tournaments, win Zone 6 banner, place 3rd in Provincials. Angie Tosh named Provincial A Tournament MVP and Charlene Barr earns all star. Boys go 97 35, win Zone 6, place 5th provincials. Troy Berry Glen Ford all stars. Angie Tosh Berry Ford invited to Provincial Graduating All Star game.

Correction issued for elk claim and local events in Glenboro
The notice corrects a Wildlife Trophy night error stating the elk was the largest archery elk this year in Manitoba. It also invites Glenboro residents to the Christmas Concert at Glenboro School Theatre Thursday at 7 30 pm and notes the December 14 lights contest sponsored by Kinette with extended Friday shopping hours 7 to 9 pm.

Pay Equity Postponed At Tiger Hills School Board Meeting
The Tiger Hills School Division held its 20th regular meeting in Glenboro on November 24. Budget allocations for 1992-93 including Capital Furnishings and Vocational areas were approved while the Capital D budget allocation was postponed. Trusties declared conflicts of interest and abstained from related votes. The board appointed several standing committees for 1992-93 and set staff salary ranges. Trustee Marginet signaled a future move to rescind the pay equity resolution from March 10, 1992 due to lack of support staff participation.
