Fire destroys 130 alfalfa bales near Glenboro Manitoba
Firefighters battled a large blaze at Jeannie Fraser’s farm five miles east of Glenboro on April 1. A later report notes 130 large square alfalfa bales destroyed as smoke lingered on April 12. Cypress River and Glenboro South Cypress units fought the fire with water dumps and livestock-area protection. Neighbors helped remove unburned straw bales to prevent spread.
