The Clydesdale stallion Doxaco McQreen will stand for service in the Glenora District after May 1st for the 1913 season. Owned by John Calvert, Carberty.
The Leland Hotel was sold last month by Thomas H. Gregg to W. Goldenberg of Winnipeg. Gregg, owner for 12 years, ran a first class hotel with his wife’s support. The Gazette wishes the Gregg family success in Winnipeg as they relocate.
Since Adrianople’s fall no major war news. Scutari has not fallen. Montenegro bombards the city despite powers caution. International fleets from England France Germany Austria and Italy in Montenegrin waters. Austrian troops maneuver on the frontier. English sentiment grows, with possible withdrawal to back Montenegro.
