Receipts totalled £873 1s 6d, including an advance from the Building Relief Committee for ground improvements. Thousands of stock move via West railways to Sydney markets

Thousands of stock were trucked into the Dubbo railway district for the week with 2300 trucks transporting sheep and cattle to Sydney markets and elsewhere. To handle the record traffic 33 special stock trains were run and more services are expected as heavy trucking continues. Five special trains went to Flemingon on Tuesday and hundreds of trucks are booked for other consignments from the Cocorambl Narromine and Trangie districts.
