Three shearers Messrs Ritchie W Spruce and So Mitchell were in a car accident on the Dubbo Gilgandra road near Combaggle crowing around 8 30 on Tuesday evening. Ritchie of Redfern was taken to Dubbo Hospital with no fracture. Mitchell the driver was thrown clear and assisted mates. A Dubbo party en route to Gilgandra alerted the Eumungeri Ambulance, which transported all three to hospital. Mitchell and Spruce faced fines or other penalties.
