Gilgandra Football Club holds annual meeting

More than twenty members attended the Gilgandra Football Club annual general meeting at the Memorial Institute. Officers were elected to reform the club as weather disrupted last season. Financials showed heavy indebtedness despite reduced liabilities and assets, with plans for away matches and possible membership cuts.

Local relief committee formed to aid distressed Gilgandra

A public meeting led by Shire President Dr E Townsend formed the Gilgandra Citizens Relief Committee to ease distress.
